COURTYARD
The outdoor area of the premises, often referred to as the single biggest Prague square without cars, offers many different corners to explore. At the bars Car wash and Prastánek by František Skála you can buy draught beer, soda or hot tea. The kids can let off steam in the enormous sandpit or on the climbing structures while you relax among the trees, sitting by the campfire, or even being active playing beach volleyball or badminton. Open-air events take place regularly here: concerts, outdoor movie screenings and lectures. If you want to have a bird`s eye view of the whole area, just climb the watchtower installed by the artist Čestmír Suška.

OAKSTALL AND CARWASH
The Oakstall (Prastánek) by František Skála found its new home in a hidden corner of the Barracks. A six-meter tall structure fashioned from a 350-year-old hollow oak tree conceals an actual stall where you can refresh your body and soul. Weather permitting, the bar is open every day between 17.00 and 23.00.
The bistro in the former carwash serves the clients of the sauna during the winter months. In the summer you can pop in before the projection in the outdoor cinema or to have a round of beach volleyball.

We are very grateful to the Prague 8 city district for their help with planting of and caring for the greenery.
