13 Days, 13 Nights
Kabul, August 15, 2021. American forces are withdrawing from Afghanistan, and the Taliban attacks the capital. They seize it, plunging all of Kabul into complete chaos. Thousands of terrified Afghans rush to the last safe haven, the French embassy, where commander Mohamed Bida and his elite team are securing the premises. Bida, along with hundreds of civilians, becomes trapped inside the compound. In a final, desperate effort, he must negotiate with the Taliban to organize an evacuation convoy, with the help of French-Afghan humanitarian worker Eva. A race against time begins — within days, it will be too late to escape. They must reach the airport and flee the hell descending on Kabul.
The film 13 Days, 13 Nights is based on the incredible yet true story that Mohamed Bida published in his book of the same name.
